Humming Herbs® Choline Complex is a capsule supplement providing 320 mg of choline (58% DV) per two-capsule serving from three declared sources — choline bitartrate 600 mg, Alpha-GPC 50% 300 mg and citicoline 100 mg — in a bottle of 120 capsules, 60 servings. It is for adults who want their choline from more than one form, with the contribution of each source stated on the panel.
Why three sources of choline?
Choline is an essential nutrient involved in normal homocysteine metabolism, lipid transport and the synthesis of acetylcholine. Different choline forms are handled differently by the body. This panel declares each one and what it contributes: choline bitartrate 600 mg (providing 240 mg choline), Alpha-GPC 50% 300 mg (providing 150 mg alpha-GPC and 60 mg choline) and citicoline, also called CDP-choline, 100 mg (providing 20 mg choline). Together that is the 320 mg of choline on the top line.
What does the black pepper extract do?
Black pepper fruit extract (Piper nigrum) standardised to 95% piperine is included at 5 mg. It is a standard inclusion across our complex formulas.
How much should I take?
Two capsules daily with food. The bottle holds 60 servings.
